I´ve got literally 3 minutes to write and publish this, see I´m in Portugal on holidays for a week, and its my alst day and the only internet access is in this little computer in the lobby, and the credit will run out, just writing to say, I havn´t forgotten you, contrary to what you must think seeing as I hardly ever publish anything.
I´ll be back tonight anyway, and I will write a post in the next week...maybe two weeks. We´ll see :)
Peace xo

FREEDOM
I really am bad at this whole, sticking to the blogging thing aren't I? I don't know if anybody does actually look at this when I post things, but seriously, I am the worst keeper of promises ever. I've finally gotten around to publishing this post, I've been stopping and starting with it a lot, so don't expect much. (Y)
I don't really have much to say, summer in Ireland is not the Indian replica,oh so hot, you're gunna melt with the heat sort've summer that the papers exclaimed we were going to have. I have not been doing much lately and therefore had no inspiration on what to write. I was in West Cork last week, for a week. Family holidays are not always cracked up as they're supposed to be. With the people you love, in a cramped car for 5 hours, to get to a place, which is even more cramped than your home, it almost makes me reconsider if I actually do love them. o.O
(not really, it just gets too much sometimes, know what I mean?)
Anyway, for a while now I have been collecting pictures and photos by photographers online, I'm not sure how the whole, copyright thing goes, so I'm going to chance it and hope I haven't broken the law, and if I have, hope I don't get caught.
So yes, I've gotten off track again, but yes, I have been collecting images online, images that speak to me, that sounds really like a hippy thing to say, especially coupled with the fact I'm vegetarian and keep updated with the UN's website and play games online for collecting rice for the hungry people (you should do it too! go to www.freerice.com). But yes, I've done it again! I think I may have a problem... What was I talking about again?
So I just reread the whole of this post, and I honestly think it is crap. But I haven't got the time to change it drastically, and I can't leave it again or it'll be Christmas when I next look at it, so it'll have to do. As I was saying I have been collecting images, and them images are of things that remind me of life, fun, passion, creativity, and of course, freedom. So from now on I think I will post a few of those images every couple posts, if I actually stick to it this time. Which I will try to. So here's a few;

Little girl with Bubbles

Survivor, this was taken by someone in the USA

Freedom
And lastly,

Breathe, by someone in Canada
Sorry I don't know who these beautiful images are by, I just come ac cross them randomly and save them. Whoever produces these, truly see the world differently from most people.

iPhone 4G
*Sighh*
So the iPhone 4G is coming out in Ireland pretty soon, and I can't help but keep looking it up on google images, just to look at how pretty it is. I so badly want it, but recession is still here and no one will accept an underage person to work for them. Even babysitting jobs are hard to come by lately. I don't quite know if it's because people don't go out as much anymore, or if the parents don't trust me, I hope it's not the latter o.O
But yes, my lack of income will prevent me from getting an iPhone 4g. I have never had an iPhone before, I do have an iPod 4th generation, and I literally couldn't live without it. Apart from my laptop, it is my favourite possession. I could not live without it.
Even if I had the money to buy the iPhone, I don't actually understand what O2 and Vodafone are going on about on their websites, total confusion.
I really want to get the iPhone because I love music, I seriously LOVE it. And I carry my iPod with me everywhere. I also carry my camera around everywhere with me. I also don't have a phone. Lol. I am dying without one even though I don't often use it. Also lastly, the iPhone has great internet facilities (fancy words ;)) so the iPhone basically has everything I need, want and have in one little, goodlooking, compact device. It is perfect.
Anyone of my two followers have any thoughts or care to explain what its all about?

Excuses, Harry Potter, Suncream.
Umm, I'm not quite sure what to say, I know, it's been a whole three weeks since I started this blog, and a whole three weeks since I've posted to it. There is no excuse for that.I'm sorry, my two followers. I do have a small little excuse though... lol. I had my junior cert, so that took up pretty much alot of time, and it has been crazy since then, meeting up with family, friends, sorting out my room etc -.-
Anywaayyzz moving on, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows trailer came out, and I saw it, and I am actually almost hyperventilating just watching the 2 minutes trailer. It looks so amazing, waayyy better than the other films. I am praying they keep to the original plot, and don't leave too much if anything out. The shots of all the foests looked amazing, and there was alot more emphasis on th characters, more so than the other trailers, so I hope the characters really get to shine in this movie. I know I want the movie to be amazing, but I am kinda hoping it isn't as good as the book. Not because I don't want to see a great film, but because I don't want it to outshine one of my favourite books ever.
Lastly, it is summer! Finally. Summer reminds me of playlists, books, grass, suncream, and pastel colours lol. The smell of suncream is amazing. I love it. One of my favourite smells. :) yeahh I'm not weird at all...
That's all I think, and I am making a promise to myself if you to my two followers that I will post more often :)

Okay, second blog. Summer's only around the corner and after all the stress of exams and school and routine is thrown out of the window, I have set myself a goal. It is a goal I definitely won't complete this summer, or even this year. But, I have already started. I have spent all of an hour and a half (which I should have spent studying) skimming and perusing through web pages searching for the top 100 books to read before you die. I've narrowed it down, and I have already read some, that I think are well worthy of being in the top 10. But, I'll have to wait and see, there might be some new hidden jems in there. I'm not going to list all 100 now, but I will tell you the ones I've finished reading already.
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
The first time I tried to read this, I found it very hard to get into. I thought Austen went into too much detail, and alot of the information was unnecessary, but I was only 13. Two years on, after seeing the BBC adaption and taking the dusty book off my shelf, I read this only about 6 months ago, and I loved it. The honest, gentle manner of this classic drew me in and every time I reread this novel I'd notice something I didn't before.
To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee
I read this in school as part of my Junior Certificate curriculum and although I first hesitated at the thought of reading a novel about law, a court case and the Deep South, which I knew was very stereotyped and prejudiced. What I didn't expect from this book was the sheer genius of the plot, the pureness of it's characters, and the realisation of how terrible the black people in South Alabama were treated. I learned alot from this book, not only on a historical background, but on a life aspect. It is a truly inspirational story.
The Harry Potter Series by JK Rowling
This is my favourite series of books ever. Ask any of my friends or family. I am a Potter nerd. The mystical characters, twisting plot and still undiscovered world of wizardry fills me with excitement and youthful energy. I would advise anyone and everyone to read this novel. It is the best I have found so far.
My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult
This touching story,I read after watching the film. I hate watching the film adaptation before reading the book. It always spoils the plot, the producers feel the need to change half the storyline and especially with this book, I felt more from the movie, as it was my first experience with the story. In my opinion, the plot of the book was better in so many ways, but i wasn't as surprised on finishing the book, but that's just my own experience.
The Time Traveller's Wife by Audrey Niffennegger
This novel didn't appeal to me at all. It was a great idea, but not very well executed, in my opinion. The writer tried hard to make the concept of time travelling a medical condition. It just didn't click with me. Some of the moments were heart-rendering, but alot of the time I just found the story, a little feeble.
The Boy in the Stripped Pyjama's by John Boyne
This tender tale of a young boy deluded, trapped in a bubble of happiness is taken away from his friends to live near his father's work. Little did he know, that it was in the middle of nowhere, near a concentration camp in the Nazi reigning years of WWII. This innocent boy portrays the Nazi's in Germany through untainted eyes. I loved this book.
Hope you agree with me, and if you don't, comment. :)
